FEEDS is a clinic devoted to helping children learn to eat a variety of foods and textures necessary to promote optimal growth and development. Our professionals are skilled in evaluating, identifying, and managing issues that interrupt a child’s ability to eat a variety of foods and textures. We strive for children to reach maximum potential in skill acquisition while supporting their nutritional needs.

Staff Bios

Barb Linneman, MS, RD, LD
Barb is the owner of a pediatric nutrition company specializing in nutrition services for children of all abilities and needs. She received her Master of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics from St. Louis University and is a member of their adjunct clinical faculty, providing instruction to dietetic interns in pediatric nutrition. Barb has over 15 years experience providing direct nutrition services to children with medical and developmental conditions such as Celiac disease, IBS, Autism, failure to thrive, various genetic syndromes or weight management challenges. She has specific training in feeding skill development. Barb is the mother of three boys.

Cathy Raney, RD, LD
Cathy has been working as a registered pediatric dietitian for almost 30 years. Experience includes working with infants and children in a variety of community and home-based settings. Cathy has experience with nutrition related difficulties associated with prematurity, failure to thrive, genetic syndromes, and metabolic disorders, to name a few. She has specialized training in the development of feeding skills. Cathy has a B.S. in Home Economics and Dietetics and is on the adjunct clinical advisory staff at St. Louis University.

Sue Velders, M.Ed., OTR/L
Sue is an occupational therapist with over 20 years experience in pediatrics. She is SIPT certified and practices Fine Tuning/Therapeutic Listening with clients. She has extensive experience working with children on the Autism Spectrum as well as children diagnosed with Down’s Syndrome, Developmental Delay or Failure to Thrive. She has developed curriculum in the areas of fine motor development for children with Autism, and continues to develop protocols for parents and teachers on managing sensory modulation issues and feeding.
