Barbara Linneman MS, RD, LD ![]() As the President of PEDS, Inc., Barb Linneman has been providing nutrition services to children for over 21 years. Barb received her Masters in Nutrition from St. Louis University and worked clinically at Cardinal Glennon Children’s hospital in St. Louis. She is also certified in Childhood and Adolescent Weight Management through the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. Barb is an active member of both state and national nutrition organizations, that focus on enhancing nutrition for children. Barb is currently adjunct clinical faculty at St. Louis University and provides on-going practical training experiences for students enrolled at St. Louis University’s dietetic and nutrition internship program.
Barb’s oldest son, Joe, was born with 4p-, a chromosomal disorder, which affects his global development and growth. It was during this time that Barb first realized the need for community based nutrition services. She then established PEDS, Inc. to provide education for parents to assist them in meeting the unique nutritional needs of children with special health care needs as well as of children demonstrating more typical development. Since that time PEDS, Inc. has grown to provide nutrition services for families and children in the St. Louis, Kansas City and Springfield Missouri communities. PEDS, Inc. is a provider of Early Intervention Nutrition Services through the First Steps program. PEDS, Inc. works with physicians providing individualize nutrition education and services tailored to each child’s unique needs.

The staff of PEDS, Inc. focuses on meeting the unique nutritional needs of children. All services are provided by a registered and licensed Pediatric Dietitian with experience in clinical community pediatric nutrition.

Barb Linneman, MS, RD, LD Barb is the owner of a pediatric nutrition company specializing in nutrition services for children of all abilities and needs. She received her Master of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics from St. Louis University and is a member of their adjunct clinical faculty, providing instruction to dietetic interns in pediatric nutrition. Barb has over 15 years’ experience providing direct nutrition services to children with medical and developmental conditions such as Celiac disease, IBS, Autism, failure to thrive, various genetic syndromes or weight management challenges. She is certified in Childhood and Adolescent Weight Management. She has specific training in feeding skill development. Barb is the mother of three boys. |
